Director of Outreach

 Teen Care Network is seeking a dedicated and passionate Director of Outreach to join our executive team. This leadership role is critical in expanding our reach, fostering partnerships, and ensuring the successful execution of events that align with our mission to bridge the gap between care and community.

 

Position Status: Volunteer, Remote, 10-15 hours per week.

General Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Lead and oversee a team of Program Managers responsible for planning and executing community events and initiatives.

  • Develop and implement outreach strategies to increase engagement and partnerships with schools, community organizations, and stakeholders.

  • Represent Teen Care Network at networking events, conferences, and public forums.

  • Collaborate with the executive team to align outreach efforts with organizational goals.

  • Support fundraising initiatives and community engagement campaigns.

  • Monitor and assess the impact of outreach programs, ensuring they effectively serve our mission.

  • All other duties as assigned

Tools or Systems Experience:

  • Proficiency in  Google Workspace for document creation and collaboration; Adobe Acrobat for PDF formatting.

  • Knowledge of project & team management systems such as Google Drive, Monday.com and Connecteams

Requirements, Skills, and Knowledge:

  • Proven experience in grant writing with a successful track record of securing funding, ideally for nonprofits focused on youth development, education, or mental health.

  • Strong research and analytical skills to identify and qualify funding opportunities.

  • Excellent writing, grammar, and editing skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.

  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and meet fundraising goals.

  • Excellent organization skills with strong attention to detail

  • Work cooperatively and effectively with staff, leaders and volunteers
