Director of Outreach

Mission: Teen Care Network is a nonprofit organization committed to supporting teens and young adults with resources and programs that promote mental wellness, personal development, and community engagement. Our mission is to bridge the gap between care and community.

Overview: Teen Care Network is seeking a dedicated and passionate Director of Outreach to join our executive team. This leadership role is critical in expanding our reach, fostering partnerships, and ensuring the successful execution of events that align with our mission to bridge the gap between care and community.

Position Status: Volunteer, Remote, 10-15 hours per week.

General Responsibilities & Duties:

Lead and oversee a team of Program Managers responsible for planning and executing community events and initiatives.
Develop and implement outreach strategies to increase engagement and partnerships with schools, community organizations, and stakeholders.
Represent Teen Care Network at networking events, conferences, and public forums.
Collaborate with the executive team to align outreach efforts with organizational goals.
Support fundraising initiatives and community engagement campaigns.
Monitor and assess the impact of outreach programs, ensuring they effectively serve our mission.

All other duties as assigned

Tools or Systems Experience:

Proficiency in Google Workspace for document creation and collaboration; Adobe Acrobat for PDF formatting.
Knowledge of project & team management systems such as Google Drive, Monday.com and Connecteams

Requirements, Skills, and Knowledge:

Passion for mental health advocacy and community engagement.
Experience in outreach, program management, or event coordination.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a mission-driven environment.
Excellent organization skills with strong attention to detail
Work cooperatively and effectively with staff, leaders and volunteers
